  1. I got a text from Severn Trent, asking me to use less water because of the lack of recent rainfall. Did they request that closed offices and factories switch off their automatic flush urinals when no-one is at work? No - because it's metered water and income for the water company!

  2. Manufacture of an Internal Combustion Engined Vehicle used to use about a third of the CO2 from usage over 10 years (12t v 3.5t x10). Now production only generates about 9.5t. However, producing an EV generates 60% MORE (14.5t) because of the batteries and electric motor. How is building EVs reducing CO2? Plus the pollution impact from rare-earth mining and disposal of batteries at end of life is horrendous!
