What would happen is they cancelled the sanctions, gave Russia her money back and returned to trading with Russia as before? Energy crisis over, farming can access fertilizer, food shortages end and prices would drop! Ukraine will lose anyway. US hegemony is declining - you can't stop that. The Dollar is losing its place as the World currency. Politicians would lose face - They are losing face now!

@philiplindley7384 You really know nothing! Zelensky declared that Ukraine was going to join NATO (even though NATO have since admitted that they can't!) and get nuclear weapons. He refused to honour the Minsk Agreements. He also declared that Ukraine was going to take back Crimea and in January, signed the order to assemble a task force to send an additional 40,000 troops to take back Donbas. On 16th Feb, the OSCE recorded 40 ceasefire violations, as the Ukrainian Army began shelling Donbas, rising daily to more than 2,000 a day on 20th, 21st and 22nd Feb. On 24th Feb, Russia (as requested under the UN Charter Article 51) stepped in to stop it! How do any of those apply to the UK?
