  1. Reports indicate that Polish drones were used, training of the 73rd Specialist Naval Unit was by the Royal Navy. Also a US Global Hawk flying from an airbase in Italy was in the area at that time. I count 4 NATO countries involved in an attack on a Russian Naval base. A major escalation by the West! Hope Ben Wallace will take responsibility far putting the Royal Navy in the firing line!

  4.  @davidjack7418  Why did the people of Crimea choose to be separate from Kiev? Why did the people of Donbas choose the same? Why did the people of Mariupol choose to be part of Donbas?

  5.  @davidjack7418  "a nation handling their own dispute"! The Minsk Agreements were to stop Kiev's method of handling it. 14,000 people died in Donbas, 10,000 in Mariupol. Zelensky had sent an additional 40,000 troops to take back Donbas. That was how he intended to do it! Russia stepped in to stop the bloodbath!

Zelensky refused to uphold the Minsk agreements, and sent his troops to kill Russians - most of the people in Donbas were Russians before the area was included in Ukraine. Russia/Russians/the Kremlin/Putin wanted an end to that. The majority of the casualties (at least from Russian activity) have been military. The people of Donbas requested to join the Russian Federation in 2014. This time their application was accepted. Even some in the West admit how fractured NATO is. E.g. The US has threatened Turkey with sanctions! And the EU is squabbling like kids! Both groups are way more involved with the conflict than most wanted to be. I assume you have swallowed the propaganda about 155mm artillery and HIMARS. 16 HIMARS launchers - Russia has 12,000 MLRS launchers available! The little green man has burned many bridges and has few options remaining. And now Poland is eyeing-up reclaiming territory in the west! Graeme Peters
