  1. For years, Iran has stated that it has no interest in obtaining nuclear weapons. Iran doesn't even have long range weapons! Many years ago, Iran started enriching uranium for the purpose of making radio isotopes. Iran stated that it would not need to if the US sanctions against buying medical isotopes was lifted. Iran also has an interest in developing nuclear powered electricity. The 'nuclear technology' Iran got from Russia is to build nuclear power stations - but the MSM reports fail to mention that! As a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty, Iran has the right to research nuclear weapons up to the point of making a bomb. Israel refused to sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty!
