  1. Too much misinformation and speculation here. 6 ft 9 inches comes from '4 cubits and a span'. Not really a memorable 'giant'. However, other texts record Goliath as '6 cubits and a span' (9ft 9inches. At nearly 10 ft tall, he would be remembered as a giant. Goliath was one of 4 brothers 'of similar stature'. They were Nephalim.
