Comments by "Graeme Peters" (@graemepeters5717) on "Are solar panels impacting the weather? Green isn’t Green." video.
I watched a report a few months ago, from the US. Farm owners were highlighting that where adjacent land had been cleared of trees and shrubs to set up large solar farms, it caused erosion of the soil, choking streams and rivers, because there were no longer roots and vegetation to protect the soil. Also the expanse of concrete bases for the panels caused increased run-off, into the streams and flooding the farmland around the solar-farms. The 'carbon footprint' to make all that concrete plus to make the panels, as with wind farms, far exceeds any carbon savings by using their 'green energy'. Only the land owners benefit from the money they get paid. Ask David Cameron's father-in-law. He got £120,000 for having a wind-farm installed on a piece of otherwise 'useless' bog-land!

Don't delude yourself! Solar companies look for 'cheap' land, where the owner has no choice but accept a low price from the energy company. Solar companies are ONLY interested in the money, which is why they'll own the panels on your roof - until the govt. feed-in tariffs expire! @babelfishdude

SOOO naive! Few households have a suitable roof, panels don't cover even that house's use, doesn't work at night, under snow or on a cloudy day and have a limited lifespan! @babelfishdude
