The US says their tanks won't arrive before the end of the year! The US knows that if Russia has already won the war by then, they can sell them to the countries which gave up their Leopards, squeezing out Germany! "In Kherson direction, the enemy's attempt to cross the Dnepr River for disembarking sabotage and reconnaissance groups to the left bank has been prevented by artillery near Dnepryany (Kherson region). Aviation and artillery have neutralised up to one company tactical group of the enemy reserve forces on the right bank of the Dnepr near Nikolayevka (Kherson region). Up to 30 Ukrainian personnel, three boats, and two infantry fighting vehicles have been eliminated." - Oops! The reports were that they had completed the drills NOT that they launched a missile! Ukraine couldn't even 'retake' Kherson until Russia withdrew its forces - and Ukraine had a much bigger army last autumn! They are still suffering the effects of depleted uranium shells in Iraq. If they get used against the Russians, there will be trouble! The stats coming out of Kiev are laughable! If the UA was destroying that many troops and that much equipment, they'd be making some progress, somewhere - they're not! More accurate Western sources (using satellite, ground source and obituary information) count Russian dead at 16-18,000! And civilian casualties at 9,000 (fewer than the UA killed in Donbas or Mariupol!). They also calculate Ukraine's DEAD at 122,000 (see the cemeteries in Ukraine!) PLUS 35,000 missing presumed dead = 157,000! This does no include wounded! Over 10,000 UA troops have been taken prisoner. Need to keep them somewhere! Tomorrow, an exhibition opens in St Petersburg of some on the captured Western weapons! 40,000 UA troops against the 100,000+ Russian troops in that area - how d'you think that will go? Recently, Russia has focused on destroying UA artillery (119 artillery pieces plus 15 MLRS eliminated 10th - 25th Jan!). The West can't keep up with Ukraine's loss rate! Once the long-range defence is gone, the ground attack will start! The Russian Dud is clinging onto his copium - that the UA is going to magically transform and counter attack through to Crimea - poor, self-deluding fool!
