  1. Some major flaws in the reasoning! What about the commodities sector, or does this numpty include grain, timber, metals, minerals in 'manufacturing? Sanctions have caused an increase in domestic aircraft manufacturing with a target of 93% of domestic use planes within 5 years. Bosch is looking to sell its Russian factories, as many Russian customers would rather buy Russian made or even Chinese washing machines rather than German. Imports have dropped because of the sanctions and Russians are being encouraged to buy home produced. There is also a massive investment in manufacturing to make the country more self-sufficient. The US increased oil imports from Russia. Saudi refused to increase oil production and started importing discounted Russian oil for domestic use, so it could sell more of its own oil at higher market prices. Many EU countries have INCREASED their imports of Russian oil ahead of the ban. A new pipeline is being laid to increase Russian oil to China. Russia still makes a profit, even with the discounts, and much of the supply to countries like India means a loss of supply by other countries. Sanctions against Russian exports has caused the closure of Ecuador's oil industry. The Russian Govt has increased wages, pensions and welfare benefits. Domestic gas prices have dropped twice this year and food prices are falling because of a bumper crop in the agricultural sector - especially wheat. This fool should visit the real world sometime - he might like it. At least it would give him a break from having to make up bullsh*t!
