  1. These are the thoughts of someone who says so much yet knows so little! He attributes Putin with HIS ideas and knows nothing about the way Putin thinks or acts. If Putin were to 'rebuild the USSR' he would do it economically, militarily and influentially NOT territorially. As to the costs of the Ukraine conflict: The Washington Post estimates the resources, assets and territory in Ukraine, currently under Russian control, to be of the value of $12 trillion, and forecast a trebling of Russia's GDP over the next decade as a result!
