  1.  @Justin-ui5ti  I guess you forgot about Kiev's declaration of joining NATO and the aspiration of getting nuclear weapons! Putin knew that despite his many efforts to get a neutral Ukraine, the West was aiming to advance eastwards, and the military build-up towards Donbas would escalate!

  2. Would that be the crime of defending the people of Donbas from genocide by the Ukrainian Army? Zelensky signed the order to assemble a 40,000 strong taskforce to 'take back Donbas'. On 16th Feb '22, the OSCE recorded more than 40 ceasefire violations as the UA began shelling Donbas, rising to more than 2,000 a day on 20th, 21st and 22nd. On 24th Feb, as requested under Article 51 of the UN Charter, Russia stepped in to stop it!

  4.  @eivinds.johnsen2826  The good news is that another 1,965 UA troops were added to the demilitarised scoreboard today. This is on top of the 13,000+ that were added last week!

  5.  @Justin-ui5ti  Justin, you should visit the real world some time - you might like it! Crimea REQUESTED a military presence, whilst they held a referendum about joining the Russian Federation. The DPR & LPR were formed BEFORE Crimea's application to join. Russia didn't need to 'sponsor separatism' - the US did that when they overthrew Ukraine's elected Govt. and the new regime set about persecuting the ethnic-Russians in Donbas! Unfortunately, Putin rejected their applications to join - believing they would be protected by the Minsk Agreements and knowing that Ukraine could not survive economically without Donbas. The Governments of Sweden and Finland made a BIG mistake. They are suffering from the loss of trade with Russia (especially Finland), and are militarily exposed and isolated (especially Finland). They made their countries targets!

Since the beginning of hostilities in Kursk region, the AFU losses amounted to up to 1,350 Ukrainian troops, 29 tanks, 23 armoured personnel carriers, nine infantry fighting vehicles, 116 armoured fighting vehicles, 20 motor vehicles, three self-propelled guns of the Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system, three launchers and one AN/MPQ-65 radar station of the U.S.-made Patriot anti-aircraft missile system, one Grad multiple-launch rocket system launcher and 10 field artillery guns.

  7. There are no cities near Kursk - only towns and villages. Kursk is 120km from the Ukrainian border. The UA has captured NOTHING "near Kursk"!
