  1. Dream on! Petrol became scarce and more expensive because it was more profitable to export it. The Russian Govt has banned exports to protect and reduce the price in domestic markets. Many foreign companies have sold up and those in key industries have been taken over by the State. The ECB has raised the GDP growth forecast for Russia for 2024! The attacks on Russian refineries has nothing to do with Russia's size. They are done by terrorist partisans local to the sites.
