Totally unwarranted speculation! Comments on the early reports of this incident, by people who appeared to know what had happened, included the following information: The vehicle was described as a coach not a bus. It was stated that as the man fell, his head entered the wheel arch of the vehicle. An ambulance crew was called to a body with no head nearby. Visibility, in narrow streets, in the dark, would be restricted for the driver, who might not have seen it happen. If the head became detached within the bodywork of the vehicle, it could be transported for some distance. There is a reason why there is no police 'man-hunt'!
