Landing too far down runway - pilot error Yet some commenters choose to blame the design of the airport! It hit the mudbank not the concrete wall, which is hundreds of feet further on.

  2. The bird strike report came from Ukrainian sources. Other reports suggest the plane may have been hit by birds and a drone, prior to the tail damage.
