  1. The flood plain is mainly on the east bank side, so would affect Russian troops not Ukrainian. The N Crimean Canal would cease to function. Russia has struggled to get enough water to Crimea for 8 years since Kiev dammed the canal. Kiev claims Russia has placed landmines on the dam. You would need a LOT of landmines to destroy an earth dam 9 stories high! Mines might however, make the road on top unusable by the UA. The mechanised battalion of the 28th Specialist Brigade of the UA was destroyed at Beryslav. Yesterday, "24 projectiles of the HIMARS, Olha, and Smerch MLRS were intercepted". The oil and gas buyers in the EU and US know that they will be black-listed by Russia if they apply a price cap! Qatar can not supply more LNG to the EU because their production is already committed to contracts for Asia. I wish Alex would sit on his hands!

  2. Saudi is buying cheap Russian oil for domestic use, allowing them to sell more of their own oil at the higher market prices. UAE is importing Iranian, Russian and Venezuelan oil (all sanctioned) and selling it along with their own 'without origin'. Western MSM will headline 'Putin/Russia shuts off the gas!' Siemens signed-off the report that it is unsafe to run the turbine with oil leaking on the cable connections! However, without Canadian sanctions, there would be 4 other turbines working and the gas flow would now be 80%. With another turbine needing to go to Canada for repairs, AND COME BACK AGAIN! - the pressure should switch to Trudeau! The G7 now wants to start a war against Russian oil - just watch the prices rise now! Will the EU lobby Trudeau to cancel the sanctions? Will the Germans (and other EU countries) pressure Schultz to certify Nord Stream 2? Will there be a ground swell to cancel all sanctions? Will there be a rift between the US and EU if sanctions get lifted? It's all becoming an interesting game! Putin is on the side-lines watching the Governments bury their economies and waiting for them to start fighting amongst themselves. I wonder if he ever allows himself a smug grin?

  3. I believe they have made 'contingency plans' for a full shut down 'if needed', however this one was to repair power cables which had been damaged.

  5. Ukraine is a financial 'basket case. Added to the loss of $12 trillion of assets, resources and land, now under Russian control, it is being ransacked by its corrupt politicians, taking everything they can before the curtain comes down! With Poland already creeping into western Ukraine, what remains after the conflict is over , is likely to be renamed as - Kiev!!!

Many analysts are suggesting this was a false flag by Zelensky and that no Russian missile was involved. The little green man is still claiming Russia did it, even after it was identified as a Ukrainian S300. Russia also pointed out they had NOT bombed Kiev! Secondly, NATO has now stated "This is getting ridiculous, The Ukrainians are destroying (our) confidence in them. Nobody is blaming them and they are openly lying. This is more destructive than the missile"! Even the BBC has said that Western allies are getting tired of Zelensky's lies! First Kiev claims Russia launched 100 missiles, then claims they shot down 73! In Lisichansk direction, the personnel of 81-st Airmobile Brigade of the AFU that operate in Belogorovka (Lugansk People's Republic) refused to subordinate to the command and to fulfil combat tasks due to large casualties and low morale. The militants sent to Belogorovka from one of the Ukrainian Nazi groups executed by shooting five Ukrainian servicemen to impose order and to intimidate the Brigade's personnel.
