  1. Seventh Anubis: I have that answer even though I’m mostly on your side. No one currently has the technology to shoot down a barrage of ballistic missiles that have reached apogee and are heading back to earth towards their target. The speeds are much too great. The only way to stop an Iranian ballistic warhead is to get it on its launchpad. Which is extremely difficult because Iranian missiles are mobile and are hidden easily. You can’t get them just after launch (relatively slow ascent) because Iran is a huge land mass and US anti-missile missiles can’t reach them in time. By the time they are in low outer space, have reached apogee, and are rocketing down to their target their speeds are tremendous. US best technology would be VERY lucky to hit one much less multiple warheads heading their way. Non-rocket savvy folks aren’t aware of this. Israel’s Iron Dome is useless against ballistic missiles. The rockets shot at Israel weekly are crude slow low rockets only a few miles up in the sky. Ballistic missiles are a totally different animal.
