This all started in the eighties when the middle classes ruled the only broadcasted comedy wasn’t someone being funny but should be restricted to mimicking Ben Elton and making a series of “Mrs Thatch” jokes, which although not funny showed a solidarity to the cause. The fact they’ve now turned on one another was inevitable…and for someone who always thought it was bollocks this is actually hilarious.
