I’m beginning to think some of the big investors in startups like these do so knowing they’re chucking their money away but simply want to be on the “list.” Case in point is the new revolutionary battery airliner in “development.” Reading through the list of backers brings to mind James Taylor’s words about sweet dream and flying machines.

  3. Patrick himself in his book forecasts an almighty crash following the inevitable closing of all the loopholes. I wonder how much of that sovereign fund will remain after the crash and how much will actually go to the people affected?

  5. I don’t have much faith in the EU recognising much of European car production is promoted as “Teutonic engineering excellence” and forcing to EV effectively negates this. Within 10-15 years the European car industry will be owned by the Chinese.

  6. It’s pretty obvious some Irish and EU politicians are in it up to their greedy necks. When the bubble bursts, or more accurately when it’s destroyed, they won’t be the ones that suffer.

  9. Anyone with any sense would know electric vehicles would see the end of the European car industry based, as it supposedly is, on engineering prowess. I assumed European politicians had shares in Far Eastern industry.
