  1. This totally glossed over the fact that the Serbian “uprising” was a direct result of the unravelling of the Ottoman Empire. It’s impossible to understand what caused the war without understanding this. I can only presume it’s been cobbled together from other simplistic YouTube videos.

  3. They were fighting a different war. Surrendering after a narrow front has broken through your lines is how the thinking went in the first war. If they’d carried on the fight there would have been no German victory.
