  7. Article 16 of the revised WA specifically give the government the right to introduce new legislation to protect internal trade if this is threatened. The EU has no power to stop this legislation - merely to object it it is applied unfairly. As this will never be applied unless the EU intends disrupting trade between NI and the rest of the U.K. this should never even be an issue. Does anyone ever actually understand this before making childish claims?
