  1. One of the strange things about this entire episode is that the enhanced animal feed eventually blamed for the disease was actually manufactured in Holland and sold throughout Europe. It’s still unknown if the infected batches sold to the UK were simply an anomaly or the reporting of BSE cases varied across the continent.
