It's wild that me, living in a small city in a third world country, have like 5 options for fiber internet. Politicians in Germany have long stopped caring about its people. This is reflected by voting for more populism, which is not a bad thing - and the taboo around it is slowly fading. Germany should care about Germans.

I feel like we've been having new theoretical battery breakthroughs for a couple decades now, and we mostly run on lithium-ion. Battery hype feels like ufology at this point. "I want to believe!"

It's very simple. AI. If you wanna lose billions fast, you put AI on everything. Before it, it was Blockchain or NFTs. Maybe quantum becomes the next buzzword.

2 reasons: batteries and motors haven't improved in ages. But it's really funny how wrong sci-fi writers got it. They thought their own creative work was the pinnacle of intelligence and unreachable for robots, and that all menial crafts would be long replaced before we had any philosophical discussion.

I'm worried about climate change. Therefore, I suggest we heavily tax China, turn WEF into a zoom call, create insurmountable barriers to "greenwashing", reduce microplastic pollution, and make all opinions on the subject legal again.
