@LADYAQUARIAN42 No, karma is not based on transgressions or sins from past lifes. For most, it is based on pure choice. You must take into account that remembering past lifes will make you terribly ashamed at every single thing you did against others, and hopeful for the progress you're making in recent lives. Some people have been making so little progress that they choose to suffer here instead of suffering on the other side from their consciousness (since they don't have many choices).
