  1. I hope movies like Top Gun Maverick become the new norm. No writing for social checklists, for asinine critics, for meaningless awards, but for the audience, with respect. The real trope now is "subversion of tropes", which has become expected, tiresome, repetitive and very formulaic. And hopefully, unprofitable.
