  1. It's not alive, nor sentient. It has learned how to produce text that looks like the terabytes of text it has already seen. Try it for yourself with some of the generally available ones, e.g., Jurassic-1, GPT-J, etc. It can really fool you! Blake should know better. He asked loaded questions from the AI. Consider the "Chinese room thought experiment".
