  3. I do not really understand why someone on the west that is not jewish would want to protect Israel at the expense of the western world. If it was an US territory (under US control, not the other way around) I could understand it, or if it benefitted the west in any way (as opposed to siphoning off from it). There is no reason to defend or even care about Israel's imperialistic ambitions. If the US was under distress, Israel would never care to help non-jewish Americans.
