  2. I think Sargon is either out of his depth or exaggerating his reaction to some things. The cells playing pong were just a small bunch of neurons, no consciousness or anything like that. In fact, the training aspect is kinda interesting. The "reward" was neatly ordered signals. The "punishment" was random signals. Tells you something about how we form habits, if you think about it.

  3. It's bad for everybody. The question is, what can be done about it? Prohibition has a track record as successful as communism. So there needs to be some healthy way to channel the desire of the masses in an era where anything will always be a few clicks away. (Of course, holocausting MindGeek could be a first step, but then what?)
