  1. I’m a little curious here — if you’re measuring temperature externally via eg IR camera, wouldn’t seeing high temperature mean the gloves are allowing more of the heat they generate to escape? I think the test should have included a comparison of internal temperature measured between the two aluminum cubes, and the external temperature at the palm, forefinger, and back of hand. That would show which gloves did best job of generating and retaining heat. A glove that registers 140 internally and 115 external is less efficient than one that registers 130 internally and 115 externally.
