  1. Does anyone know how low the Amazon Basics thermostat dial goes? We need to add some heat to a very small room on the corner of our house - just enough to keep it above freezing. Most of the time the room is empty so noise is not a concern but safety and size are. If the AB’s lowest setting approximates 50F, I think it’s the winner for us.

  2. One of the AznBasic heaters just arrived here, and I deployed it for first time, with the thermostat set at minimum. As the evening goes on I’ll check the room to see if it feels warm enough to be safe overnight. (The room is our laundry / mud room, off the kitchen. It has its own exterior door that is well insulated but also a window that isn’t great and allows a lot of heat out. The room is heated but it’s behind an interior door, so it only gets heat when the main home thermostat kicks on, and gets much colder than the main house overnight.)
