  1. @crazykirsch I assembled my Lansky set once, trued the stones and rods once, and stored them in a cardboard tube in a drawer between uses.

  2. I had a Lansky sharpener for years and years. It produced good sharp edges every time, and I always felt confident I was grinding consistent angles on every knife. I always clamped it in a vice to improve stability and reduce chance it would slip and let the blade edge chop the hand holding it. Sadly it disappeared 3 or 4 moves ago. Someday, when the world returns to something like it was 6 months ago, I’ll get myself a new one.
