  8. It'll work on bright objects like orion nebula and hercules cluster remeber not to use a zoomed in eyepiece. Wide angle is better😁

  12. Cool😁. The app is called intervalometer. You will need to keep your exposures short bc you are more zoomed in. Prob about 0.5 secs at the widest x 20 setting. And good luck 😃

  17.  @JinxKapali  15x is harder. Andromeda is bigger than the moon so you don't need to worry too much about magnification. You just need to collect as many photons as you can. So less zoomed often means more photons collected from a wider area. Also the more you zoom in the shorter your Exposure time because of the earth rotating. Sorry 15x is much harder... But if you manage it it'll look great. 😁

  68. Brilliant. Tough target. Well done. Flats is the next most important thing you need to do to improve the images. They will make a huge difference allowing you to crush the blacks and push the nebula😃

  96. Hey neotheone, its a pain when they won't stack. i can't remember the settings im afraid. Dark frames help get rid of the hot pixels which can be mistaken for stars and in dss you want about 50 stars to register on each frame which means playing around with the settings. Hope that helps... But it could be something else. In truth there are approximately 10million things that can go wrong😀

  126. Cool. If your phone has more than one camera you have to choose which camera to use, normally the one with the fastest lens and line up that particular camera with the eyepiece. Photos from your compact will stack in free deep sky stacker software which is also about 15 years old. 😁

  141. Wow tough shot to get. Did you capture raw frames rather than jpegs. Also because you are twice as zoomed in your stars may be trailing at 2secs although maybe you were ok bc you were at quite high alt. Ummmn were the stars in the center ok... Tell you what if you post the pics we can figure it out.
