People today seem to confuse "discover" with "invent". By your definition, the only way someone can discover something is if it doesn't already exist. Discover simply means finding something unexpectedly, hinging more on the one doing the finding rather than the thing being found. So, yeah. Congratulations on discovering Tennessee.

That's an oxymoron. If they were truly indigenous then they were always here and didn't discover it.

Amerigo Vespucci is a fictional character. America was named after Turtle Islanders who called themselves Amaru Khans.

Actually... Columbus knew exactly where he was going because he had access to ancient maps from his maternal ancestors who were Amooricans from the Old (New) World that had colonized North Africa before conquering Europe. Columbus had even met Native Americans in 1477 who had crossed the Atlantic in canoes. It is now believed that Columbus was born in Cuba and used the ruse of finding a route to China to finance his pilgrimage to the Motherland.

Take a map of the world, turn it upside down and look at it from the back side. America is the "Old World". Tennessee is Egypt. The Mississippi River is the Nile. Israelites crossed the Gulf of California and wandered in Baja. Tajuana is Jerusalem.
