@bubuluwithagoldendudul9709 no thats wrong no one can date holi its that old and has indo-aryan roots , nowruz on the other hand is a newyear celebration according to the persian calendar and nowruz has iranian aryan roots, in india every ethnic group celebrates its own new year .

@bubuluwithagoldendudul9709 also the real nowruz is pretty much dead since persia was forced into islam , i have a parsi friend and trust me the real nowruz is very different . he told about what it stood for ahura mazda , spenta something something 😂 i dont really remember but ya what u guys have is a cultural festival , its like a plant without a root!! but thats not the case with holi . even today it stands for the same significance and reason it stood for 2000 yrs ago!!

@bubuluwithagoldendudul9709 well what you ur saying is the first written evidence of holi but we know it was celebrated at least from 500-300 bce since its mentioned in the purva mimasa sutras composed during that time !!

@bubuluwithagoldendudul9709 i was juat saying that nowruz was originally and still is the eid of zoroastrians , u guys turned it from a religious to a cultural festival in order to preserve it whats wrong in that?so the celebration still stands but its roots and what it stood for have eroded . like r u arent going to the fire temple today , right?
