Divorced over 2 yrs ago. 1 friend (least i think we are) No social life other than the few gym buds I kick up a water cooler convo with and the baristas I get my coffee at for the last 2 yrs. For the most part I go to the gym, work, and free time is at a coffee shop and walking around enjoying my city which ive been doing solo since my divorce. Im aware im also restarting my life.

  4. Post divorce I decided to join hinge and FB Dating(free version). This is over 2 yrs ago. My little ignorant mind thought in no time ill meet a decent female I can take home to the parents...HAHA. Over 2 yrs and this is my experience- Never has a pretty 25 yr old msged me nor have I actually seen a profile of such and if i do its seldom or fake. Only 4 types reach out-Single mothers, Old women or women from another country, locals that are morbidity obese. Single mothers are my favourite because they are very blunt and you can sense desperation. They all operate the same. lol...The second question after "hello" is "what do you do for work?" Easiest way to get rid of them is tell them you bag groceries.

  5. Im divorced. I no longer care for shinny things to impress people i dont know or those fake friends you find when youre in a relationship. Perfectly happy being able to get outta bed after a 7-8 hr sleep every night and making it to the gym in the morning (5-6x a week) I eat twice a day and have enough to enjoy a smoke here and there. I have one friend who i know is a true friend. Im happy i left the rat race.

All I could think about was, "Man! I can't not see myself going through the feeling out process ever again. It sounds so brutal and tedious"

Over 4 yrs to a woman I’ve known for 10 yrs if not a bit more..she turned..the, what will she want or do with her power society granted her enters your brain and doesn’t leave for years Even when it’s finally over. I took the risk and paid for it. I’m 36 in July. Dating doesn’t exist. Scariest time of my life. I grew up fast and learned a lot very quickly. Men think I come from a place of hatred when I tell them be careful or be cautious with her. I’m happy It’s over and this is my rebirth..I definitely got off better than most guys..i know im blessed

  11. I gave dating apps a go after my divorce (hinge, FB dating) they dont work. If you think in real life they are picky wait till you download one of these apps. So what ive learned from dating apps..if she opens with "what do you do for work" after she introduces herself...she is not interested in you and only your money...Its a cry for help...I give an answer i know they wont like..its funny how fast they disappear

Let me sum up my dating app experience. Big Big girls in their late 30s. Hot Single mothers. Divorcees that have not mentally recovered. 20 something that arent there for anything serious. So far the only ones that hit me up are old women, divorced women, single mothers , big girls, ones that live somewhere far or good looking no kids never married but super cray with over the top expectations...those are the career dating app girls.

Ive been to warsaw..he probably ran into a Ukraine who has been in poland for extended period of time..Ukraine to Poland is what Mexico is to the US...polish people arent interested in mingling with others...theres a huge Vietnamese population in warsaw..and you rarely see interaction unless its a polish eating at a Vietnamese restaurant.

As a south Vietnamese and Cambodian born and raised in Canada who has travelled back to SEA more times than i have fingers and toes I can say yes there are plenty of good wives but most are not. Most women with foreign men were once bar girls that have luckily won the lottery. IMO most women there are born and bred to be cunning

My first time there I was overwhelmed with the kindness.. second trip I saw how fake it was.. everyone..has something to sell.. something simple as a water bottle or something bigger like their daughter.. everyone has a plan to make $$$ off you and that includes family living there.

  19. My friend started dating this girl he met at the gym. Before they dated he was happy and had no worries. He was single and enjoying his life. Had no worries. Genuinely was happy. Now that he is in a relationship he looks drained, constantly over thinking and looks like he doesn't get enough sleep..the complete opposite to the single guy I knew before. All he talks about now is $$$ and how to make more and constantly worried about $$$$$ but he says he loves her...they been dating for half a year maybe less

  24. Average "starter home" is a million Canadian. 800k will buy you a home in the outskirts where no one wants to go or a tiny condo in the city. Jobs are hard to find and if you do it starts you at $18. Most are with families until the bitter end or move out and will share a apartment downtown for $1500 with a friend or stranger and struggle. He doesn’t believe me when I bring up her red flags that it will ruin you one day..she 8 yrs his senior, no father figure, mother is heavily involved in the relationship..he even admitted to me it was the mom that pushed him to marry her, she still has a relationship with her ex (friends), she wants kids and he doesn’t. He bought a house where she hates and doesn’t want to live..and he thinks “I’ll just force her to want to live here and be happy..lol...that’s just a few..yet he believes she is the one..we no longer talk

I too am rebuilding my life...saw my ex wife at a stop light one evening as im leaving work last summer after not seeing her for over a yr...who knew someone could age so fast..almost didnt recognize her..the little old lady stared at me and didnt look away until the light turned green

Her daily problem was finding a show to binge till i got home which was about 8pm every night....tough i know. I left work in a panic..got home begged her to think it over. She replied by coldly handing over her ring. That was the last time i spoke or saw her. She called multiple times which i all ignored and even stole money to get my attention. Saw her one evening at a light when i left work. I almost didnt recognize her. She looked like she aged 10 yrs. One day after a argument she texted while i was at work (she was a housewife) said she was no longer happy. That divorce rocked me good. Learned a lot about myself and people. Lots of self reflecting. Two years single. Few meaningless dating app flings. I also played the game and in the end got zip from it. I have one life to live. Im going to enjoy it as much as possible with or without someone. Its gym, job and my family.

  36. im 36. Here and there hinge chats that get nowhere except some naughty pics. Weekend flings i call them. I once was married wanted kids, big suv and that house. Got a few of those then one day it blew up. I have ZERO interest at 36 to take a girl out and get to know her again for the next few yrs. The thought of that long term investment sounds exhausting..and if i wont marry again and am not wanting kids why am i dating again?

What I've noticed and started picking up within the people I interact with is most either don't mention their fathers (only refer to mom), father is here and there ( if still part of their lives), bad to no relationship (if he's still around) or completely out of their lives. Very few refer to a two parent household like they use to.

I was in utter shock to see what young girls were dressing up like to see Taylor. never knew this was Taylors fans..thought they were wholesome fans..In November short skirts tank top..what youd see in the evening on a college pub street .some of these girls dressed up like this with their moms.
