@apvial “diversifying their supply chains” aka exploiting sweat shops in India instead

@rosstheboss8633 You mean like how the US and UK invaded Afghanistan? Iraq? Vietnam? Did the world end?
2
@rosstheboss8633 Apparently my point flew entirely over your head. If Texas decided to secede from the USA following their own civil war, do you think the US government would tolerate that?
2
@rosstheboss8633 Also, are you suggesting middle eastern oil reserves are not/were not critical to the world economy at the time? Did the world end? Are US and UK troops not still there literally policing Iraqi oil fields to this day? Give me a break.

@andriod8014 Exploiting people is generally regarded as a problem.

@goodguy9787 So you’re saying the Nationalists have been there for hundreds of years? 😂😂😂😂 You’re reaching.

@goodguy9787 Is that before or after the Nationalist Chinese effectively began a campaign of genociden against the ethnic Taiwanese? Is that what you're referring to?

@jonathanjordan5143 Feel free to provide a source of him saying this.

@rosstheboss8633 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that’s a good one. You gave it to the world? For free? GTFOH. Talk about American exceptionalist nonsense.

@rosstheboss8633 Gonna answer my question? Would the US allow a breakaway territory? A better question is, did they tolerate a breakaway territory - and the answer is no - they quite literally had a civil war over it. As did China, btw - and I hate to break it to you, but the communists won.

@rosstheboss8633 You took control of the oil? I thought you were there cos of WMD’s? You’re as full of sh!T as China is.

@andriod8014 So you’re conceding that western capitalism relies on the exploitation of cheap labour in poor countries. I wonder, what is western “freemarket” capitalism going to do after they’ve squeezed every dollar and resource out of India, and the Indians are no longer willing to be used and abused to make their consumer products? And btw. The Chinese didn’t get richer from being victims of exploitative cheap labour (that’s why they were poor in the first place, because you know as well as I do that if those heroic “investors” had their way, those labour costs would remain screwed down tight). No, they got richer from gradually more state regulation giving them more power and bargaining in the workplace. The Chinese simply aren’t willing to be ripped off by the west anymore. And India will eventually follow suit. Then what?
