If Andrew Neil is considered right wing in the UK, then it would explain why the Tories are currently losing their voting base.

I'm thinking that people in general are less concerned about click-baity video titles than about smear-campaigns disguised as interviews when it comes to the subject of polarizing the political discourse.

@ImperiumLibertas So what you are saying is, Andrew Neil is behaving like any other left-wing journalist. Which is why I have a hard time seeing him as a conservative.

@omnishambles4477 Well, looking how a 'conservative' like Andrew Neil is behaving in this interview, is it really a surprise that the Tory Party has butchered Brexit?

@oliviamoore3426 "...it’s your own snowflakery cos you feel like people questioning the dynamics and wanting them to change is a threat."... ..."The thing is. I hate feminism, so you can’t use that card against me. No. This is all about you conservative sjw’s wanting oppression points and being part of the oppression olympics. There’s no oppression points to be had. *The system favors you.*" PICK ONE. You are ALL about oppression points. You ARE a SJW. "Will there be exceptions? Yes, of course. And those people should get help as anyone else." Now excuse me while I call all of you cissy white manchilds a bunch of conservative snowflakes, because the system favors you. Yeah, you don't sound like a feminist AT ALL. "I’ve proven with facts and logic that this is about your feels." This is just pathetic. You have not proven shit. Complete projection. Keep on repeating that you have facts and logic on your side, it sounds so utterly convincing.

Everyday I'm the unwitting victim of harmful BBC memes...

Me: Well, apart from the horrible audio, this seems to be covering the UK election in a rather neutral tone. Rest of comment section: TORY MOUTHPIECE! ( ^_^)-6

On the one hand, this is fascinating to watch. On the other hand, this is sad because it's a reflection of the state of journalism in the U.K. in 2019.

@NJ-wb1cz Voters are changing for UKIP, because the Tory Party is pro-EU.

@NJ-wb1cz I haven't followed the local UK elections results. I see that you are correct. LibDems and Greens gained? That's depressing news. Edit: Ok, I've done some more investigation, and it looks like Conservative, Labour and LibDem/Green were the only options in quite a number of areas. A lot of people seem to voted 'third party' as a protest vote. Which makes it look like a majority now wants to remain. I guess we'll have to wait for the European elections to get a better reading on this.
