  2. Actually, I find Brock Pierce to be one of the more reasonable BitCoin promoters I've listened to. Most of them completely write off gold as some sort of relic of the past, only seriously considered by 'technophobic Boomers'.

  3.  @tqs3  Remember, if it goes to $100.-, it would probably be more of an indication of how much the value of US Dollar has collapsed, than how much more silver has gone up in appreciation.

What I've been hearing for 11 years, is how Bitcoin, and cryptocurrency in general, were going to be disruptors. And yet, dispite the fact that the price of Bitcoin has been going through the roof in the last couple of years, it hasn't cooled down the economy one bit. Looks like cryptocurrency, in its current form - meaning, not backed by precious metals, ain't the antidote to the economic turmoil at all, but one of its prominent instigators.
