Not sure you know this but the US suffers from an over-incarceration problem with non-violent drug offenders, so clearly there are steps taken to prevent the spread of illicit substances whether it is 100% effective or not. You clearly just want to plug your ears and ignore the issues with guns instead of taking the appropriate actions. Will gun laws prevent this happening? Not always, but. a good amount of them perhaps if you didn’t fetishizes guns and your “god” given rights. Again, for this situation of a non citizen to obtain a weapon is just one example of how effective gun laws could’ve prevented this. But stay ignorant Christopher.
