I don’t think you realize how government spending works: budgets are implemented, and aren’t randomly increased due to circumstances. Emergency funds were already budgeted, and continue to go to wildfire relief. Just like foreign aid is already budgeted.

@Rick-zw9kp Yes. Why would i deny that? Do you not realize the costs of disaster relief relative to foreign aid? Do you think they’re running in a deficit for disaster relief? Do you also not realize that federal conservatives were calling for less funding set aside for disaster relief because it was “too green”? Stop trying to straw man, i do not hate taxpayer money going towards Canadians. But for you to think that money going to Ukraine means there isn’t enough going to wildfire relief when they already both have their set amount and are sufficiently funded (based on the budgets made which you can’t ignore and are not different as you are trying to argue) is just very dumb on your part. show me where there isn’t enough funding towards wildfires?

@arkcon714 Oh and idk, how about the nearly 300k casualties of Russia’s “esteemed” military, the fact they’ve been pushed back from their early conquests, lost more than half of their tanks and BTRs, their own mercenary attempted a coup and is now dead, and they have to resort to numerous drafts and conscriptions while the Ruble drops in value and their economy is relying on interest rates and no imports😂

How is there not enough? & clearly this is way over your head if you think the government is going into debt to fund the war in ukraine when there is still the set amount aside for foreign aid they’re dipping into. You don’t understand that, and continue to ramble that Canada is going into debt over Ukraine😂 Try to keep up and stick to reality buddy
