@tinajohnson-bv9yx Even if it were true, how would it affect their ability to swim? I read that for generations they've avoided the water because of how it messes up their hair when it gets wet. Over time, it became an unspoken phobia. I think, too, that a lot of blacks live in urban centers, and historically haven't been into outdoor activities hiking, hunting, fishing, kayaking etc which would necessitate and give them opportunity to swim.

Common sense might be a different kind of intelligence or a result of good training, experience, and wisdom gained from learning from mistakes and your elders.

@Phillipdumont One problem with highly valuing IQ and education is that we devalue the poor, the uneducated, those with Down's Syndrome, and the simple and become prideful about our IQ and education. I think it's important to point out that being honest about differing IQs ( or any giftings or lack thereof) among people groups should never be a basis of devaluing, mocking, condescension, or despising a group.

Here's a controversial take: In light of the rising antisemitism, it is interesting to note the number of extremely smart, rich Jewish people. Note: I ❤Israel and am opposed to the tide of antisemitism. But does it just appear that there's a large disparity in the number of Hewish people that are brilliant, rich, in government, CEOs etc. Or is this just putting them under a microscope? Hiw many families in the cabal are Jewish? Hiw many are of other ethnicities. My hunch as a creationist is th at A. They are Old Money going back to Abraham.B. I believe that there is a blessing upon them still inspite of their rejection of Christ because of God's covenant with them nit because they are goid or pure. Money and power can easily corrupt anyone, not just Jews. These are things I can't prove, so I won't debate them. But, going to this s discussion are Jewish people above average intelligence, soecifically in business and finance?

@BTiffney71 I don't know when black Americans started saying aks for ask. I'm assuming it was a lack of education and literacy earlier in our history, but I firmly believe it now serves as a form of signaling among blacks is an attempt to keep a nationwide semblance of unified black culture and an attempt of educated blacks to not be accused of being an Uncle Tom or sucking up to whites.
