In an article titled Tolkien Speaks: The Secret to a Happy Marriage
on the blog The Catholic Gentleman Tolkien's marriage is described, including his letter to his son about fidelity.
He states:
"Men are not [monogamous]. No good pretending. Men just ain’t, not by their animal nature. Monogamy (although it has long been fundamental to our inherited ideas) is for us men a piece of ‘revealed ethic,’ according to faith and not the flesh. The essence of a fallen world is that the best cannot be attained by free enjoyment, or by what is called “self-realization” (usually a nice name for self-indulgence, wholly inimical to the realization of other selves); but by denial, by suffering. Faithfulness in Christian marriages entails that: great mortification."
Google it for more.
Your sin nature wants all the novelty: threesomes, trannies, bdsm, all rhe cr@p. True love is making love, not porn.
Self-control and faithfulness are achoice and a more meaningful, noble endeavor. Find a good woman. She won't be a pervert, but she'll be something truer and deeper than a red pill, OF account lifestyle.

This preacher on yt, Mike Winger, did this expose on Benny Hinn. I was thinking, "What is it about us humans? We can have mansions, jets, designer everything, travel, 5 star hotels and restaurants, and at 70, we still want more?" If we don't have peace with God and contentment/gratitude, we are insatiable.

@terenzo50 I'm listwn8ng and I think it's just her style. She's sharong loads of stats, research, individual stories, common sense, and opinion. She's just decided giving every reference is boring for an interview and a general audience who isn't necessarily academic. She probably doesn't want to waste 25% of the interview referencing the names of the researchers, their credentials, the design of the study, all the results. That would be tedious. Plus, it's an interview not an oral exam to defend a thesis. She doesn't know what she'll be asked and what of the umpteen studies she's read will have pertinent info.
So, either she's trying not to bore her largely non-academic audience, cant memorize a huge number of studies, or she's lying and making it all up.
