Here's my view from the outside looking in. In 1991, we were young and my husband was in college. We had no insurance and we paid $35 out of pocket to go to the WEF pediatrician. It wasn't a lot, but we were poor, so we went only when my son had ear infections. $35 was reasonable. Over the years, insurance played this game of negotiating prices and reimbursement. So, the doctor charges $100, the insurance company pays only $60. The doctor or hospital raises the rate to $140 to get the $100. And this goes round and round. Now going to a GP in Oklahoma is something like $140 to $200 which is unreasonable for anyone, but especially for a poor, uninsured person. I wish they would go back to charging a reasonable rate for everything and insurance simply paying it. How do we back up?

It's obviously a habit. Who cares.

@NinaSakhno-tp6ue There has been a sick parasitic relationship between insurance companies and providers driving prices higher and higher. On the issue of preventative medicine, that's on the individual to eat well and exercise, etc. Lifestyle is a choice. No handholding by a doctor will make that happen. I have this idea of clinics in every major city where doctors get huge tax breaks to serve at the clinic 1 or 2 days per month. Drop the thousands of pages of obamacare and build these clinics and then run them with volunteer docs.

God complex would be people like Bill Gates. Even Elon trying to take us to Mars to " save the world".

Counter something.

Ross Perot brought us 2 terms of Clinton.

Not.

The Healthcare company in question was doing the majority of Obamacare's business. Their company exploded with millions of clients, so they started saying No to 90% of claims.

Where is superior?

I learned that United Healthcarw took on the vast majority of those signing up for Obamacare. In response, they started denying 90 % of claims. Look at the failure that is Obamacare.
1
Resea4ch how Obamacare caused this. The company took on the lions share of Obamacare and then started rejecting 90% of claims.

Two issues bw8ng ignored: he was about to testify against Nancy Pelosi AND Obamacare.

Look into Obamacare.

Chris, your audience is incredibly hostile! Wow. Not a positive thing to say.
1
Your complaint is vague.

I didn't even notice until 25 people complained.

Sharia Law?

Lame

@Susan-id5xj It's been this way since at least the 90s. Insurance negotiating downward and doctors and hospitals raising rates in response. We paid $35 a visit in 1991. It's now $140 to $200 to visit a physician and $5k or more to visit an ER.
1
Stop complaining.

Obamacare

Jealous? Bitter?

It's not his professional area, and also he's also rich and hasn't struggled to afford Healthcare.
1
He's just conversing and sharing his opinion.
1
What would that be?
1
That's a joke, right? The left never puts out false flags and misinformation?
1
The c9mpany exploded post Obamacare and they responded by denying 90% of claims. Obamacare sucks.
1
Look at 2 issues: he was about to testify against Nancy Pelosi and Obamacare.
1
Blame a longstanding stand-off on pricing between providers and the insurance industry. And Obamacare.
1
Well, the entire working class needs to examine Obamacare and it's failure and culpability here.
