  33. During covid, my husband tested positive for 6 weeks. I isolated in the bedroom, he on the couch, my son slept in a car, and my daughters stayed in their bedrooms. I lost the ability to sleep. For 6 to 8 weeks at least. If I slept at all, i was unaware of it. I tried about 7 or 8 sleep meds, every over the counter remedy, and several antidepressants. I finally found 1 drug that worked and went on to gain 40 lb as is par for the course with these drugs. It took me about a year to wean off of it. Sleeplessness is a thing.
