During the invasion of Iraq, there was footage of our troops writing things like "Have a nice day" on missiles. People do these things in war to cope. Don't know much about Nikki Haley (sp), but I ❤Israel.

  10. No, but fat is generally not considered attractive. I'm menopausal and am at least 35 lb overweight. 50 lbs if you go on my high-school weight. It's not attractive. I can hardly figure out what to wear. I'm worried I'm pre-diabetic as well.

  13. @ThanksStJoseph  I'd have to search longer to be more thorough, but this popped up firsr: There was a time in England when under the Roman Catholic Church, it was illegal to translate the Scriptures into the common language from Latin. There was a time when it was illegal to read those illegal translations in public–or to own one. There were times when people were martyred for doing both.

Here's a few of those theses: It is vain to trust in salvation by indulgence letters, even though the indulgence commissary, or even the pope, were to offer his soul as security. They are the enemies of Christ and the pope who forbid altogether the preaching of the Word of God in some churches in order that indulgences may be preached in others. Injury is done to the Word of God when, in the same sermon, an equal or larger amount of time is devoted to indulgences than to the Word.

  23. They always say the Catholic church started with Peter when Peter was no pope and the early church in the NT and book of Acts was not Catholic in any sense. When I really started to dig in to find the first actual pope it's about 1200 AD.
