Worldly "wisdom ".
"13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good conduct, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.
14 But if you harbor bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast in it or deny the truth.
15 Such wisdom does not come from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.
16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every evil practice.
17 But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peace-loving, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere. 18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap the fruit of righteousness.

I used to go dancing in college for the sheer joy of dancing. I'll be back shortly, Lord willing, to elaborate after I get these potatoes into the crockpot. 😊
Next day...
So, in college, I would go dancing as a conservative Christian. Gen X 1980s.
I'd wear jeans and a shirt that covered both my rear and b00bs.
I danced alone or with friends, never drank, never hooked up. I just adore dancing. Yes, you can dance at home alone, and I did often, but there's just a different dynamic in a social setting. It's so much fun!!
Trouble is that it is a very lustful, dark environment and it will cause you to compromise your values over time if you keep going. If these girls are virgins they won't be for long.
I didn't fall onto temptation there, but I was working as a banquet waitress at the Peppermill Casino and met my now husband. I ended up comprising with him before he knew Christ because the casino environment is so lustful and I was young and naive and let my guard down. 😢 Christians have to be wise about where they go, how they dress, what the spiritual environment is, what the temptations and risks are, and plan & pray accordingly.

Love
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love

@y_yy_2844 Specifically sex dwindles in most relationships because infatuation is usually a short, intense period. It doesn't last.
Life, stress, finances, exhaustion, tension in the marriage, p0rn, etc can all cause sex to decrease.
Married people have to work to keep pursuing each other, dating each other, etc to keep things alive. But, no, you will not get every aberrant kink you're into 7 days a week from your wife.Just let your pornified, selfish fantasies go.
Your wife isn't or shouldn't be a kinky OF. She's obligated to make love on a regular basis, not let you cross dress, join a three way, and get tied up.

You are not here for your happiness and ultimate self-gratification. You're created for God's glory.
You're here for love and laying down your life for your wife and children. You're here for a legacy.
1 Corinthians 13
13 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

@sabrinazakrowski1399 I know. It's like putting toothpaste back in the tube. I've never been through it personally. I just know that some people do stay together. I think the genuineness of the adulterer's brokenness and sorrow, as opposed to a get over it B* demonstrated here, makes all the difference. I think it's an act of God if the parties can fully repent and fully forgive. But it will be a new normal, but that's the for better or for worse in traditional vows because if you go the distance, you will experience "for worse" in your lives in some way, shape, or form. The postmodern form of adultery, p0rn, is one most of us will deal with. A girlfriend of mine was a gorgeous redheaded virgin in 1988 when she married her husband. She always made herself available sexually, within reason. He had a rougher background than her very solid Christian heritage. He came into marriage with p0rn issues when it was still in magazines. She rarely spoke about it, but one day, she told me, "You will never understand the pain." Anyway, TMI. 😆
