This is also part of being millennial or genz. It's extremely popular to be fixated on therapy, labels, and self-analysis. It's the whole culture. In contrast, my grandmother, born in the 1920s, never spoke about her mental issues, feelings, illness, tiredness, stress, etc. Talking about herself on that level never occurred to her. They simply didn't think that way and therefore didn't speak that way.

12:22 Still not one specific. Just vague victimhood.
17:00 Nothing specific. Just whining.
20:26 Nothing
25:00 Still. Except now you're complaining about the size of your bedroom. Dude, I slept in a walk in closet for several years.
Heres the thing. You will be bad parents and/or face the same NC behavior. It's called a bitter root judgment when you pridefully hold onto your unforgiveness and believe you will be an amazing perfect parent. Your pride will be your downfall. And you will teach your children bitterness and unforgiveness and the practice of NC.
27:00 Speaking about how he will be the superior parent. In theory.
29:00 Yes, every generation is presented with the opportunity to stop or continue generational curses, but as humans there will always be unfinished business and blind spots.
31:00 People make humorous videos about stereotypical German moms or asian tiger moms or hispanic moms. A lot of it is all the same. Moms are emotional, bossy, fearful, and a lot of fear manifests in anger unless they are full of faith and prayer and keep their stuff inside.
37:55 "This is the first generation trying to heal from all the traumas...." Actually, healing comes from forgiveness not unforgiveness.
I miss my boomer grandparents. They NEVER whined and complained about any personal emotional slights. Never said anything about their trauma from their parents. They weren't walking TMI about everything and calling everything abuse and trauma. It was probably extreme, but so much less self-absorbed.
NC is passive-aggressive retaliation.
40:00 Yeah, dude, the parents are having to deal with the rejection/punishment. You want the therapist to hate on them too?
An entire viseo and no solid info other than "We had a human mom" or "we had a mean mom". Pity us.
If you have an extreme case where yoyr oarent is a pdf file, lewd, coninuing to yell and cuss and insult, fine, take a break. Maybe permanently in extreme cases. But garden variety problems should be negotiated, forgiven, worked through. Cutting someone off should be a last resort.

Psilocybin
Ugh. Now the science guy wants to broaden his horizons into drugs, sex, and rock and roll. This obsession with shrooms is so out of hand that my 80 yo mother was trying to sell me on them (she watches too much TV including CNN).
It's the 60s pt. 2.
So, does this mean he's into/promotes New Thought, manifesting, New Age, TM, yoga, astrology, etc ??
2:02:00
Yes, it is woo.

The Deadly J@p@nese internm3nt C@mps of WW2
Over 140,000 Allied military personnel were taken prisoner by the armed forces of Imperial Japan during the Second World War. The details of many of these brave man can now be uncovered using our...; over 1 million fascinating records relating to allied POW's held by Japanese, German and Italian forces in Asia, Europe and Africa. The
These unfortunate men and women were held in a network of over 500 POW internment camps that stretched from Rangoon (Burma-Myanmar) down through Malaya, Singapore, Sumatra, and across Indonesia (Dutch East Indies) as far east as Rabaul in the Solomon Islands. Hundreds of camps also stretched north through the Celebes, Borneo, the Philippines, Hainan Island, Taiwan and Korea.
In Japan alone, over 160 POW slave labour camps existed at the time of surrender and many more were located in areas of mainland China including the notorious camps in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Towards the end of the war, more and more prisoners were transported to mainland Japan as the need for domestic slave labour increased. Approximately 11,000 tragically lost their lives when allied air and submarine forces attacked the ships transporting them as the Japanese refused to paint the Red Cross such vessels while illegally using them to protect supply ships from allied attacks.

Media and tech has to be severely limited from the start so you're not comparatively "boring". It should never be unlimited access and never in their bedroom.
Were not jyst here as parents to be NOT boring and entertain them anyway. We're here to literally frame reality for them about life, God, marriage, communication, networking, employment, family, generations, sports, hunting, fishing, farming, whatever life skills you have.

You don't need to be evolutionary to address the subject. The Bible addresses division of labor this way:
Romans 12:4-8 AMP
[4] For just as in one [physical] body we have many parts, and these parts do not all have the same function or special use, [5] so we, who are many, are [nevertheless just] one body in Christ, and individually [we are] parts one of another [mutually dependent on each other]. [6] Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to use them accordingly: if [someone has the gift of] prophecy, [let him speak a new message from God to His people] in proportion to the faith possessed; [7] if service, in the act of serving; or he who teaches, in the act of teaching; [8] or he who encourages, in the act of encouragement; he who gives, with generosity; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy [in caring for others], with cheerfulness.

Lindsey Graham, Tom Cotton, Dan Sullivan, and Mitt Romney are on the board of an NGO (probably funded by USAID) of the IRI, The International Republican Institute.
Here's it's intro on the website:
"IRI promotes democracy worldwide. Since its founding in 1983, IRI, a nonpartisan, nongovernmental organization, has worked in more than 100 countries—in Africa, Asia, Eurasia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East and North Africa.
We are experts in responsive politics, political processes, polling, technology, and party building, all with the goal of promoting and establishing free, fair, and accountable democratic leadership around the globe. IRI partners with other global leaders on projects designed to advance these goals. IRI’s worldwide network is key to our ability to maintain longstanding relationships and deliver sustainable results."

In an article titled Tolkien Speaks: The Secret to a Happy Marriage
on the blog The Catholic Gentleman Tolkien's marriage is described, including his letter to his son about fidelity.
He states:
"Men are not [monogamous]. No good pretending. Men just ain’t, not by their animal nature. Monogamy (although it has long been fundamental to our inherited ideas) is for us men a piece of ‘revealed ethic,’ according to faith and not the flesh. The essence of a fallen world is that the best cannot be attained by free enjoyment, or by what is called “self-realization” (usually a nice name for self-indulgence, wholly inimical to the realization of other selves); but by denial, by suffering. Faithfulness in Christian marriages entails that: great mortification."
Google it for more.
Your sin nature wants all the novelty: threesomes, trannies, bdsm, all rhe cr@p. True love is making love, not porn.
Self-control and faithfulness are achoice and a more meaningful, noble endeavor. Find a good woman. She won't be a pervert, but she'll be something truer and deeper than a red pill, OF account lifestyle.

@CoffeeGeekTV Do you have all day? For starters, a person on here went to a conference and said it was a 10 hour infomercial for him, his conferences, his merch, and his affiliates.
Second, are you willing to watch a 2 pt youtube video titled The Problem with Tony Robbins? The youtuber is sometimes salty in her humor & annoying, but she exposes TR hatred for women (and I'm not a feminist. He's literally a mysoginist.), his faux doctors, faux science, and bad advice on health and nutrition. He says sciency sounding nonsense about nutrition, and his minions believe everything he says. He's obsessed with 💰. He claimed in his interview with Jordan Peterson over and over that to cash in on all his pearls of secret wisdom (cult) you have to come to his over priced 4 day /14 hour a day conference to immerse yourself. He emphasizes this immersion process over and over selling his conference ad nauseum. I've been to 3 day conferences that were about 6 hours per day tops. You will remember next to nothing. You will be hyped up but so tired you won't remember much of anything but the high. Then you'll buy all the merch to help remember all this stuff that is only a blur of info overload. He speaks about our civilization being overwhelmed with information but contradicts himself by acting like he can overload you with information and some how it's effective when he does it.
If you're not willing to watch, you're not interested in seeing the truth.
I listened to him and JP talk. I jotted down everything that sounded off to me. If I remember, I'll come back with bullet points. He's just a really good salesman/cult leader. I think it's his height, intensity, and allegedly T and/or steroids. And Jesus said people are sheep. Salesman exploit human nature. We tend to be super rebellious until we meet a persuasive person, and then we'll join a cult or buy anything he's selling.

He, a dude, talking about women's cycles and stability across the cycle.
I, a woman, used Creighton Model Natural Family Planning.
Women don't indeed have a shift during ovulation: pheromones, mucous, and interest all peak.
That's why so many conservative girls who are saying no, no, no 27 days of the month suddenly will say yes. And so many out of wedlock babies are made this way.
Women who live on artificial birth control pills, iud, etc, don't experience this.

Looking for info on the claim 12 million Germans were killed. From a Quora thread:
As for the Flight and Expulsion of Germans between 1945–1950, the German Government — as well as many historians — estimate that Stalin’s policy of uprooting some 12 million German civilians from their homes across Eastern Europe resulted in the deaths of 2,000,000–2,500,000 ethnic Germans, plus any more Poles, Ukrainians, Hungarians, Czechs, Croatians etc. even though some alternative estimates place the death toll at a more subtle 500,000–600,000.
*
500,000–2,500,000 deaths caused by expulsion of Germans after the war
(this was sourced from wiki. I know it's obviously not definitive, but I don't have 5 years to read up.)

1"But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2For people will be lovers of self,
lovers of money,
boastful,
arrogant,
slanderers,
disobedient to parents, ungrateful,
unholy,
3unloving,
irreconcilable, (unforgiving, implacable, not able to be pleased)
malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal,
haters of good,
4treacherous,
reckless,
conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such people as these."

Eat healthy. Figure out what you believe that means. Use common sense. Whole foods. Not processed. Not twinkies and doritos. Not soda. Meats, fruit, veggies, salads. Keto or no. Intermittent fasting or no. I'm aiming for intermittent fasting eating from noon to 6 pm. My ideal would be a shake with protein powder and banana or almond butter at lunch. Then eat a healthy dinner. Usually, I eat 2 eggs and some veggies or meat for brunch, too. I'm trying to hit the gym unless I'm keeping active on home and garden projects. If your grandparents were like mine, they walked, hunted and fished, and worked in the yard. They watched news and a baseball fame here and there, but we're not internet or TV junkies or couch potatoes. I never saw my grandparents sit on the couch and eat ding dongs or doritos. But, yes, they ate red meat, bacon, pie, and ice cream. 1 Grandfather died of a stroke, followed by a heart attack at 66. Grandmother died of cancer around 88. Her mother died at about 98.

Preface: I live this topic. It is so important. Caveat is that it's great when age talks about actual humans and not great when she talks about evolution. But she's an academic and evolution has locked up the biological sciences.
First 6 minutes. Evolution is so tedious. There is no proof that a million years ago baby's heads were getting too big and the babies were dying off. At least not humans. There is no proof we should be pregnant 18 months. She finally states a true and provable fact: we are one of the only "mammals" that father and raise our young long term.
This is because we are not in fact mammals or apes. We are made in the image of God by design to parent our childrenforr approx 18 year, which animals don't do.
Mothers consistently give birth at 36 to 42 weeks unless they have preterm labor. Cephalo Pelvic disproportion happens, I believe, for 2 obvious reasons: 1. Excessive nutrition. We eat healthily in many cases, but we are just over the top in our food consumption. Because of this, women are consistently having 9 to 10 lb babies (or heavier!).
In the 50s and 60s, women consistently had 5 to 6lb babies. In the 70s and 80s, women consistently had 7 to 8 lb babies. And now we giving birth to toddlers.
This isn't because of millions of years of evolution. We're just gluttonous.
2. It's a function of genetics. If you are a 5 ft 2 women from a small in stature family and you marry a 6 ft 7 linebacker male with a large in stature family you will have an issue giving birth to that man's child.
Evolution is such nonsense. Go read Darwin's Black Box and other Intelligent Design books about irreducible complexity. Read Genesis, too.
*She gave no evidence for any of thus because it's impossible other than fossils to know what happened millions of years ago. Further, this cephalo oelvic disproportion she's claiming happened, happened to some for of primates, not humans made in the image of God with Souls and Spirits

I knew a guy in high school/college. He was over 6 ft tall, blond, handsome enough but not a "Chad". He was the big fish in a small pond that was our church.
He'd been raised a Christian but had been around the block via partying and womanizing in his teen to young adult years.
When I met him, he was about 25 and I was 18.
He went on a spree of one by one pursuing most of the eligible Bachelorettes in the church (about 6 or 7 of us). He would call us Miss (girls name here). He'd call one of us up and ask us to do something spontaneous like go to the coast (SF) for the day (we lived in Reno, Nevada). Or he'd suggest a day hike or day at Lake Tahoe or four wheeling at Peavine. I think either he was naturally spontaneous, or he was checking to see if the girl was.
He'd spend 6 to 8 weeks pursuing you. Chatting you up at church, calling for these spontaneous outings.
He'd whisk the girl of interest off to the adventure. He'd then ask you all kinds of existential questions about life and relationships. We'd do most of the talking, waxing eloquent at 18. Lol
He would bed the non virgins and not bed the virgins.
He'd have his fun sussing us out and then drop out of sight to pursue the next one.
He joined the Navy and went off to SE Asia, which made him more alluring. We wrote back and forth till he fell off the face of the earth when he married a Filipino girl.
***Guys, here it is....the reason he wrapped all these girls briefly around his finger.****
....it took me years to figure it out because I'm not a strategist.
He would be super polite, respectful, and charming.
He'd invite you to do something spontaneoys and exciting (to a young, inexperienced woman) but relatively low risk.
He'd pick your brain and....LISTEN. The key to a woman's heart is listening. 🥱 😫 I know. But women use lots of words!!!
He made us feel smart and interesting and deep and fascinating. And I realize now that he offered very little of himself. We basically fell in love with ourselves. Lol, but it felt like you were in love with him.
He exploited our insecurity about being young and naive and our ego, and we'd swoon.
We were also still in that teenager stage where you think you know everything, so we'd love to share our wisdom.
So, he'd plumb the depths of our knowledge. Which took about a month and 3 or 4 outings. Lol 😅
Anyway, this strategy made him a player in 1985. ymmv

This preacher on yt, Mike Winger, did this expose on Benny Hinn. I was thinking, "What is it about us humans? We can have mansions, jets, designer everything, travel, 5 star hotels and restaurants, and at 70, we still want more?" If we don't have peace with God and contentment/gratitude, we are insatiable.

@DrPittenstein True, but this is how cancel culture works. Most people, especially outspoken, opinionated people. go off the reservation in their youth, enthusiasm, anger, frustration, or mistaken understanding of a situation, or simply misleading, but in cancel culture they will absolutely use it against you and never let it go.
Here's the deal, though: they will marginalize, attack, or cancel you for not following the acceptable narrative *even if you say it graciously, respectfully, and tactfully. You can walk on eggshells, and they will still malign and marginalize you.
She's done playing the game and in order to not be put on MUTE, she, both by virtue of her personality and her conviction of the urgency of the hour, feels the need to make a big noise. Some people interpret her as an attention wh0re. I see her as someone who knows the trojan horse is inside the gates.

@terenzo50 I'm listwn8ng and I think it's just her style. She's sharong loads of stats, research, individual stories, common sense, and opinion. She's just decided giving every reference is boring for an interview and a general audience who isn't necessarily academic. She probably doesn't want to waste 25% of the interview referencing the names of the researchers, their credentials, the design of the study, all the results. That would be tedious. Plus, it's an interview not an oral exam to defend a thesis. She doesn't know what she'll be asked and what of the umpteen studies she's read will have pertinent info.
So, either she's trying not to bore her largely non-academic audience, cant memorize a huge number of studies, or she's lying and making it all up.

I think it's the fear that if they get a total Chad, he'll be a jerk who sleeps around.
Plus, for example, I knew a pastor who was super buff and into lifting, who wore what looked like brand new school clothes every Sunday, who was always trying to wear shirts that showed off his ripped arms. He had a sugar-free, flawless diet.
Here's the deal. I don't find that attractive. I think it just comes off like a guy who shaves and buffs his nails. A guy who fusses more over his appearance than his wife. It comes off as effeminate and vain.
Of course, you should dress well, practice good hygiene, eat well, be fit. But it shouldn't be your 1 defining aspect where you look like a perfect mannequin.
