  1. This is beautiful & may they all rest in peace. They are not singing in a “doomed” scenario as is grotesquely titled. This was, according to officials reports, a farewell song to a superior officer prior to the tragedy. No need to try to make something more redemptive than it already is. They perished serving - that is highly honorable. It feels like it’s ‘not enough’ when titles like this are meant to make it seem like the sub was sinking while they were singing which is exactly how it reads to some unfamiliar. It’s a perfectly beautiful moment without the editorialized headline.
