It’s one thing to take issue with the timeline and lack of clarity. But that is precisely what a lawyer would and should say in this situation. Kinda silly to suggest otherwise . As far as I’m aware he never promised to provide a timeline. Maybe establishing a date which that would be cemented from the initial talk would have been fruitful. Especially with someone who is being accused of a scam. That way atleast he has incentive to act. This just feels like an exit ramp was left available to a guy who didn’t deserve one.
