3:25 it’s actually wild to talk about Jimmy flagging a car down when Larey was not simply abused (the non specific mention i understand you didn’t wanna say but it implies a specific type of assault) she was sexually assaulted with the barrel of his pistol the. Fled half a mile on foot and woke neighbors who successfully contacted police. This is what successfully brought the officers to the scene according the FBI vault records released under FOI/PA requests.

@anonymousperson3023 this is wrong from just about every angle with many published articles and a range of FBI profiles of serial murderers that would be directly opposition of this statement. Literally there are many, many examples. Some even like Heriberto Seda who will flat out tell you it’s for fame as he was the New York zodiac. Can’t say it was religious zeal bc he broke of any pattern. He also broke of his use of astrology. He just wanted to be famous and used other things as justifications. That doesn’t make them underlying drivers just personality traits. This is usually the case with copy cat killers. By definition that’s their MO. I’m not saying that’s the case here , In fact IMO it can’t be, but even tho this is years late it’s still shocking to read and needs correcting. There 100% are cases where fame is the motivation . Not power . Not control. In bertos case he lost all power and control and signed a confession of an unrelated crime with the zodiac symbol he’d use in murders they hadn’t figured out were connected to him yet. You could say psychological issues make that distinction difficult but that action is consistent with the desire for all his crimes to be known even if they came with the death penalty . Thats just one very widely studied example.
