As for the ramps - most modern scholars agree there was much less slave labor than people just assume at least re: the technical process . These were full time brilliant architects in massive numbers. It astounds me how someone could think they’d not be capable of a ramp if they they are simultaneously responsible for a highly geometric pyramid. I don’t know much personally about building pyramids in the desert but know what I don’t find on designed race tracks - tools and plans. When you build things, you tend to get rid of the things not critical to the structure. Why else spend all that time on the project to leave random things laying around lol
