  1. How was it not a wave? There’s plenty of precedent. Look no further than Scotch Cap half a century later. Coincidentally, the waves were reportedly 120 feet high, at minimum. Sure, we had devastating seismic activity. But it’s not impossible something didn’t register especially with the entire crew wiped out. Scotch cap attendants were seemingly unprepared and it was the tremor that is believed to trigger the deadly tsunami.
